Student Support Services

Counseling Department

Moffat PK-12 is dedicated to serving the needs of students and the community with data-backed programming in social-emotional, academic, and behavioral services. The counseling department consists of a school counselor, Career and Technical Education (CTE) guidance counselor, and social worker. We also partner with local and online vendors to provide additional support for students, such as 1:1 in-person and online counseling, and provide community support through events, workshops, and food drives.

Through accessible and comprehensive programs, we empower students to identify and explore their unique strengths, passions, and interests. We support the development of essential skills and mindsets that enable students to become lifelong learners, prepared to reach their academic, personal, and career goals.

The counseling department’s vision is to guide and empower students to identify and build upon their unique strengths, goals, and passions in order to create a positive and lasting impact in their lives and the world around them. We strive to inspire students to become confident, capable lifelong learners who contribute meaningfully to their communities and pursue growth in all areas of life.

Gun Violence Prevention for Parents & Guardians of K-12 Students

AS REQUIRED by state law (House Bill 25-1250), the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment is making gun violence prevention material publicly available for educational providers to access and distribute to parents, guardians, and legal custodians of elementary or secondary school students.
