  • The Moffat Consolidated Schools Board of Education is searching for members interested in serving on the District Accountability Committee. There will be an informational meeting at Moffat School on January 24 at 4:15pm. Information about the committee responsibilities and member commitments will be presented followed by a question and answer period. The BOE will review applications and appoint members of the committee at the February 12 regular meeting.
     
    What is the DAC?
    A group of parents, educators, and community members who make recommendations to the school board concerning budget priorities, performance planning and assessment, and other areas and issues for consideration by the board.
     
    Who is on the DAC?
    At least three parents, one teacher, one administrator, and one member of the business community. These members are appointed by the Board of Education. A parent member must be the chair or co-chair of the committee.
